In my population class (which is actually super interesting!) this morning, the prof asked us to write down how many siblings our grandparents had (then figure out the average), how many our parents had (again, find the average for your parents together), and how many you have.. then she wanted us to share with the class so she could write it down and we could calculate an average for the class. Sharing the information was only if you wanted to.. and I didn’t.. because I couldn’t, ‘cause I realized how little I know about my grandparents. And I was thinking how much difference distance and how often you get to visit makes. Like, one girl asked what to do if you didn’t know how many siblings your grandparents have ‘cause not all of them live near her/some live in another country, and prof said to just share an average of the ones she does know about. BUT I DON’T KNOW ABOUT ANY OF MY GRANDPARENTS. ..wait LOL I just realized I know about my maternal grandpa.. well, that’s one.
But yeah about how I know so little about my family
anyway I contributed by calculating the class average for our generation haha (it was 2.5)
