I kinda know that feels buddy.. my bff’s dad is an abusive alcoholic. She’s safe for the most part, but I really.. hate her dad. I wish people didn’t say things like your friend did =/

I mean, I know she was joking and that her uncle probably is hilarious. But it just made me think of not funny things.

ugh im sorry <333 it’s scary because people think they can just treat these people like they’re some harmless caricature when they’re living, breathing, slightly unpredictable people whose actions REALLY affect the lives of a lot of people. ugh feels

yeah, totally. just a whole lot of worry for what goes on there in that house.. and then what happens when my grandparents pass away? I don’t even know.
