A mohiniyattam performance. A classical dance form from Kerala. :D Whenever people go to classes to learn ~Indian dance~ here (as in, where I live), if it’s classical, it tends to be bharatnatyam… otherwise, it’s some Bollywood stuff or something set to popular (Hindi) music. But yeah, I don’t even know.. I guess my mom somehow heard of a woman teaching mohiniyattam and so I went to classes for that for a bit. I know the Wikipedia page says that it’s meant for one person to perform, but it’s not always like that.

so I used to do this for a couple years in high school (or did I start in middle school, I don’t even remember)
