A THING YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND: This is a PERSONAL blog, first and foremost, okay? So if you followed me because you saw me post something awesome in regards to racism or a well written creative piece or something - I do not consistently do that sort of writing.

What I write about or reblog: things related to social/political/global/human rights issues and things that some people may call feminist (though I’m only comfortable with the word ‘feminism’ when it has to do with transnational feminism or the like), stuff about South Asia, funny things, personal posts, confusions about Catholicism (or Christianity and religion in general), news, things I like, my boyfriend sometimes if you’re here when I make the rare post, baking/food/cooking, photography, games

Focus on topics changes as I feel.

Things about me: Indian, born in Kerala, living in the U.S., American, cradle Catholic/raised Catholic (idk what I am now), cannot speak Malayalam but I totally understand it, I like food and baking, girl (sometimes woman), doesn’t agree with the Church on most things, in college, studying sociology and women’s studies (deviating from my original path of studying biomedical engineering and women’s studies), planning on doing public health stuff later, thinking about journalism a bit also, and I love photography

I like people (except jerks)! I like making friends! Talk to me! My ask is open and so is my submit box for things that require more characters :)

Theme: I made my theme myself! :) Designed and coded! The three circle-shaped pictures in the background/side are all pictures I took. Blonde brownies I made bc yay baking, a picture of me bc me, and a picture of the sunset on the beach bc I like southern california even if not everyone here is great.
